Good-day fellow Amazonians:) I recently purchased this system for my sons 18th birthday. I researched the heck out of comparable systems and although I am not a "techy" I am very familar with computers. We are all gamers per say and I use high end editing software daily. Ok you can read all the techy numbers and such elsewhere, here is the "street review."

This thing is fast! It made me jealous in about 5 min of watching my son and I am ordering one for myself for Christmas:) It comes with over-clocking software installed and set-up, I have read that people overclock the heck out of it(up to 4.0 I've read) and it won't over-heat! We haven't even needed to yet, there is no new game on the market that he plays, that cannot just smoke on this system! On the practical note, it does everything school-wise with 5-7 programs running at once, plus music, plus chat and what-have-you easily.

It is plug and play so hooking it up to the whole new birthday gear... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Machine, great cust service, January 27, 2012
This review is from: Microtel Computer TI9081 Liquid Cooling Gaming Desktop Computer with Intel 3.4GHz i7 2600K Processor, 16 GB DDR3/1333, 2TB Hard Drive 7200RPM, 24X DVDRW, Nvidia 550 GTX TI 1GB GDDR5 Video Card, Chipset, Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Full Version CD - 64 bit + WiFi (Personal Computers)
Just received this machine a couple days ago. I was going to make my first custom build, and was searching for components, when I found this computer that had all the components I was already looking at.

So far, it is an absolute beast. I play WoW with the graphics set at Ultra, and still get 60 frames/sec at all times, and latency at 50 (home) and 65 (world), and that is with itunes running in the background. After a six hour marathon session, the case is still cool to the touch. It is preloaded with "Game Booster", which increases performance by about 40%, if you choose to activate it, but honestly, this computer runs so fast, you don't even really need it.

When it arrived, the front panel was loose, and the one of the door hinges was broken. It does not affect the perfermance of the machine at all, but I still want it to look nice. I did not knock a star off for this minor defect because Microtel Customer Service was extremely helpful. No questions... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Titanium Gamer TI9081, January 3, 2012

Works great so far. This computer runs bf3 really well. It did not exceed my expectations however. The speed difference is not very noticeable to an average person so you could always just get an i3/i5 and still be satisfied. The 16 gb of ram is a bit overkill but to each his own. The more the better right? Overall great computer, built your own you would pay around the same price. The biggest issue i had was my hard drive came tilted on its slot. Probably a one in a million thing so i'm not very peeved. Well done on the computer and it is definitely worth it. Don't think twice.
